💻 Our partner is a company that develops software for self-driving cars. They want to implement self-driving cars primarily on the basis of cameras and image processing, and they are also experimenting with radar and lidar. It is a Hungarian-owned company, but it is absolutely American in style, with a relaxed management, many American projects, and opportunities for advancement within the company.🔍 To create a safe ride, our Partner developed their very own simulator to model, test, and validate diverse driving scenarios before we test our autonomous vehicles in real-life environments.👉 They are looking for a motivated intern to join our Partner`s team. 💡 You will be instrumental in creating and verifying these complex driving situations using our proprietary simulation tool, aiSim. This role requires the ability to think systematically and apply an engineering mindset to design complex scenarios involving various actors and interactions. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone with a readiness to learn and a keen interest in the future of autonomous driving technology. Tasks:🧷 The intern will focus on scenario modeling and validation to support ADAS/AD testing and data generation efforts 🧷 Design and model diverse traffic situations/scenarios within our simulation environment (aiSim). 🧷 Execute and verify completed scenarios in the simulator for demonstration, testing, and data collection purposes. 🧷 Assist in running scaled-up simulations for data output and analysis. 🧷 Cooperate with engineers and project managers to meet specific project goals.Requirements:💬 Ongoing (active/passive) full-time university studies for at least one more year (An engineering discipline is preferred).💬 Availability of at least 20 working hours per week. 💬 Basic scripting (Python) for automation or data processing.💬 Intermediate level English skills (written and verbal).💬 Strong communication and collaborative skills. 💬 A precise, detail-oriented, and proactive attitude toward problem-solving. 💬 A systematic and analytical approach to task execution.Advantages:📍 Experience in one or more of the following areas: OpenScenario XML standard or similar scenario description formats.
