📈 A rare opportunity exists in the Budapest office of a US based telecommunications company. In this role, you’ll support projects that develop and perform analyses using Big Data technologies and driving Computer Vision solutions. The focus of the role is analyzing IoT hardware data, performing UAT tests, maintaining our deployed services and supporting the developers’ processes to improve service quality and efficiency.

🤖 You, as a Junior Technical Support Engineer will work closely with the product owners, scrum masters, and developers as part of an engineering services agile team. Your work will help our Partner meets their customers’ needs and make it even easier for them to do business with them. It`s a great opportunity for you to grow and to learn useful and valuable skills and techniques in the field of data science and computer vision.

Responsibilities:
📊 Extract, analyze and interpret large amounts of data from a range of sources, mostly using pandas, python, and statistical tools, in order to find actionable insights
📊 Maintain and support our deployed services (1st & 2nd line support)
📊 Helping developers in model training, releases and testing, use case demonstrations, etc.
📊 Working closely with your TL & team to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making
📊 Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written
📊 Create clear reports that tell compelling stories about how customers or clients work with the business
📊 Writing application notes/documentation
📊 Working in an agile shared services team, ensure transparency of the work, reporting to the team leader

Requirements:
✅ Ongoing university education in one of the following fields: mathematics, physics, computer science, biology, chemistry, or other relevant field
✅ Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical modeling and statistical data analysis methods
✅ Basic knowledge in Python (pandas, numpy), SQL
✅ Experience in the field of statistics
✅ Willingness to work minimum 20 hours per week
✅ Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
✅ Professionalism and a “can-do” attitude to work
✅ Resilience and flexibility in dynamically changing circumstances
✅ Team player attitude and motivation for collaboration
✅ An open-mind and motivation to learn new skills
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
