⚙️Join a diverse and collaborative team of over 400 modelers and technologists in Aladdin Financial Engineering (AFE), the business responsible for the research and development of Aladdin’s financial models. This group is also accountable for analytics production, enhancing the infrastructure platform and delivering analytics content to portfolio and risk management professionals (both within BlackRock and across the Aladdin client community). The models developed and supported by AFE span a wide range of financial products covering equities, fixed income, commodities, derivatives, and private markets. AFE provides investment insights that range from an analysis of cash flows on a single bond, to the overall financial risk associated with an entire portfolio, balance sheet, or enterprise.

Tasks:
🤖 Developing high-quality quantitative models to support the needs of tomorrow
🤖 Delivering solutions for both internal investment users and global financial firms
🤖 Developing in C++, Python, and other programming languages using cutting-edge technologies
🤖 Contributing to innovative quantitative solutions that continuously deliver value to users
🤖 Working on engineering-focused tasks with strong coding responsibilities
🤖 Building scripts and tools to automate products and client solutions
🤖 Ensuring solutions are robust, thoroughly tested, and ready before being released to clients

Requirements:
💻 Ongoing university studies in Maths, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Econometrics, or Physics
💻 Programming skills and experience using Python or C++ to conduct statistical/econometric analyses
💻 Typescript and Angular knowledge
💻 Strong mathematical foundation
💻 Financial knowledge is a plus (minor, elective subject, or personal interest)
💻 Interest in AI and tool creation
💻 Formal AI studies are not required, but curiosity and engagement with AI as a current industry topic are important
💻 English CV
💻 Strong oral and written English communication skills
💻 Passion for quantitative solutions with a strong sense of ownership over your work
💻 Curious and eager to learn new things, with a healthy disrespect for the status quo
💻 Enjoy working within a successful team, learning from and supporting others
💻 Willingness to step outside your comfort zone and push boundaries
