    Embedded Systems and FPGA Engineering Intern

    🚗 Our Partner is a software development company specializing in autonomous vehicles. Their primary approach to self-driving technology is camera-based, relying on image processing, while also experimenting with radar and lidar solutions. The company is Hungarian-owned, yet operates with a distinctly American-style, relaxed management culture, works on numerous U.S.-based projects, and offers internal career advancement opportunities.

    Tasks:
    🔧 Assisting with system-level and black-box analysis of embedded systems
    🔧 Writing and maintaining low-level test or demo code for internal use
    🔧 Supporting hardware configuration and bring-up activities
    🔧 Supporting FPGA development and testing (VHDL / Verilog coding, simulation, debugging)
    🔧 Helping debug FPGA, embedded software, or hardware issues
    🔧 Assisting with hardware-related tasks such as schematic review, PCB work, or board modifications when needed

    Expectations:
    🟣 Ongoing (active/passive) full-time university studies for at least one more year – preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
    🟣 Availability of at least 20 working hours per week
    🟣 Understanding of digital electronics or embedded systems
    🟣 Interest in FPGA development and hardware–software integration
    🟣 Knowledge of VHDL or Verilog
    🟣 Experience with Linux environments
    🟣 Analytical thinking and system-level mindset
    🟣 Intermediate level English knowledge
    🟣 Precise, reliable, quality-focused attitude
    🟣 Independent and proactive mindset
    🟣 Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on engineering environment

    ⏰ Working hours: Between 08:00 to 18:00. 50% Home Office is possible.

    * If you are over 25 years of age, 15% of your gross salary will be deducted from your PIT. If you are under 25 years old, you will be exempt from PIT, so you can consider your gross salary as net, up to the average wage in the national economy, which is HUF 715,765 per month.
