🚖 Our partner is a company that develops software for self-driving cars. They want to implement self-driving cars mainly based on camera-based image processing, and are also experimenting with radar and lidar. Hungarian owned company, but absolutely American style, with a loose management, many American projects, with the possibility to move forward

✔️ The Data Automation Team focuses on connecting and operating all the auto-annotation tools that generate the training data for our environment perception solutions, and organizing the results in a way that AI researchers can readily filter and use the created data. Changes in requirements, tools and methods are inevitable with new technologies researched and implemented continuously. As our Partner maintain and use several years of recorded vehicle data, it is important to keep data fresh, and accommodate for changes in file formats, database records, so they can always utilize the data they need the most.

Job Summary 
🟠 Understand different versions of recording software and annotation tools, how they interact, and how users are using the resulting data
🟠 Use existing and implement new migration tools to update data formats to newer versions and verify their correctness
🟠 Test migration strategies in a test environment
🟠 Execute and monitor migration the operation of migration tools on a daily basis
🟠 Identify and root cause issues, discrepancies, find solutions with tool owners
🟠 Verify and support the update of relevant documentation
🟠 Work with the relevant teams on depreciation strategies

Requirements:
💠 Ongoing (active/passive) full-time university studies for at least one more year on engineering or IT field 
💠 At least 20-25 working hours/week in our Budapest office
💠 Experience in data handling and manipulation using SQL
💠 Experience in command line tools
💠 Experience in Python
💠 Intermediate level English knowledge
💠 Precise, reliable, quality focused attitude
💠 Independent and proactive attitude

⏰ Working hours: Between 08:00-18:00, Home Office also possible 50-50% after training
