    Software developer intern - Calibration team

    🏎️ Our partner is a company that develops software for self-driving cars. They want to implement self-driving cars mainly based on camera-based image processing, and are also experimenting with radar and lidar. Hungarian owned company, but absolutely American style, with a loose management, many American projects, with the possibility to move forward within the company.

    👉 Developing automated driving requires a complete, mature toolchain to collect, generate, use and manage the data needed for a safe and robust solution. Our partner`s technology is the most advanced, data-driven pipeline for automated driving that reduces the complexity of the processing with high automatization while still ensuring automotive quality.

    👉 The sensors are the most important link between the system and the environment. Perfect sensor calibration and a deep understanding of how sensors recognize the world is essential for a self-driving application. As a software developer intern in our small team, you will take part in calibration tool development, diagnostic data analytics pipeline development and support the team`s daily work with coding and testing.

    Tasks:
    🎈 Close cooperation with researcher colleagues to help develop state-of-the-art sensor calibration algorithms (Python, C++)
    🎈 Participate in the development and testing of calibration applications (C++)
    🎈 Develop and maintain tools for analyzing collected sensor diagnostic and calibration data (Python, JavaScript)
    🎈 Create data statistics and charts (Python, JavaScript)

    Requirements:
    🟢 Ongoing (active/passive) full-time university studies for at least one more year
    🟢 Solid C++ and Python knowledge
    🟢 Intermediate level English knowledge
    🟢 Ability to work independently
    🟢 At least 20-25 working hours/week

    ⏰ Working hours: Between 08:00-18:00, Home Office also possible 50-50% after training

    * If you are over 25 years of age, 15% of your gross salary will be deducted from your PIT. If you are under 25 years old, you will be exempt from PIT, so you can consider your gross salary as net, up to the average wage in the national economy, which is HUF 576,601 per month.
